Reduction in Paper Usage

When we talk about reduction in paper usage or the means to be applied to it, the first thing that comes to our mind is, helping the present excessively polluted world 'go green'. ‘Though many are too tough to be convinced even for a small contribution in making the world pollution free, what has made the scenario worst, is the ignorance of the younger generation in spite of knowing the perils of modern civilization. Thus with a ray of hope to save this beautiful world from the aggravating danger in form of pollution, I Jyoti Mishra want to share a small idea with a hope that my endeavor would be accepted and be helpful in the prevention of millions of lives.

Modern technology holds a good impact on our day to day lives. Every action we take, are some way or the other are inspired by different technological inventions. Then why not the hordes of paper work that is being done every day at the work places can be done with a touch of technology? Many of us, are well aware about the concept of DMS (Document Management Software). This basically is a software system that is used in most European countries to have a control over the documents, paper content, Information about people and different work process. The documents that are often developed on paper, can be well compiled in a computer with the use of this software. Moreover it will also lessen the use of paper. Not only this, it will make the entire work process more efficient, effective and adaptable to change.

Another important point to be discussed here is, the use of white boards at work places instead of stick- on's. This could greatly contribute to the idea of paper saving. Shed out the thought that a small contribution from your side will be lost. Know that when passion is given a shape, the human kind builds brilliant product and solution.

Hello readers...this time I am posting a very touchy poem penned by great poetess of yesteryear, The Mahadevi Varma....whose poems we all have read at least once in our life time. The reason behind posting this piece is that I feel, such great works should be read over and again. Amazingly they correlate with our life in some way or the other. For instance, the poem mentioned here, can be taken in two ways one, a lovers longing for his/her beloved and the sea of emotions that passby during this period. Again it could be a devotees devotion weaved in words towards the almighty. Anyways without much analysis, here goes the poem...

Emotions...

My God I live for you, My God I crave for you…you are the source of all my energy; the way I smile, the way I cry. You hold my breath, you hold my trust. You are my faith, you are my practice, you are my worship, you are my wish, you are my happiness, you are my sadness, you are my loss you are my achievement…You are in my sleep, you are my wakeup call, you are in my sorrow, you are in my pain…you are my longing, you are my languishment, you are my love…………………………….To you I surrender my mind my body, all my ugliness…my eternal beauty!

Just lyk that...

There had been times when I have felt that in-spite of having all, there is something that is missing and that one thing is making all my assets appear as if they are not even worth of pebbles, fell on road. I remember the saying “If diamonds were as plentiful as pebbles, nobody would have stooped to pick them up…!” why it is so that the entire humanity is after something which is undefined and unanswered??? Why instead of enjoying our presence and what we have in that time, we always crave for something which is either far away from our reach or is completely impossible to attain?
How true it is that we make them cry who actually care for us while we’re in incessant urge to make them happy who are never for us and will be never there for us…I wonder how with time, the meaning of some very important parts of our life changes? If something is very important today, it gradually lacks luster and sheds its gravity in course of time; giving place to some new craving, new aspirations to emerge. And as soon as this new craving has emerged, we start basking in the glory of the unattained, unfulfilled, undefined desire. Thus the cycle continues…I firmly believe that they were the great souls, who overpowered their wanting, mastered their desires and overcame the feeling of emptiness. God! Such wise souls they were that it took them only few years to understand the true meaning of life. However life has always remained undefined for the unfortunates…….

Who's the actual dramatist???

There had been a huge turmoil on salwar kameej clad baba. The crazy paparazzi werein a tough competition to click just a picture of baba and then circulating those (who came first way) in print and electronic. The motto behind this crave was not to highlight which designer’s creation baba is wearing neither was it, that how awful it is to see a yog guru cum religious preacher cum ‘social activist’ dressed womanly. But the very concept was how demeaning, insulting and cheap it is for the entire society (strictly Indian I mean) to find its ‘guru’, dressed women. Even I was awestruck (with occasional laughter) seeing this on television. But I could not prevent my mind from questioning myself why it is considered shocking or disrespectful for a man if he wore a ladies dress to save his life?
Does it mean women are still considered inferior or an object of mercy in this male dominated society? Am sorry I cannot stop myself from considering the reigning century ‘male dominated’ at least not after this incident which invoked many political furies and fanatical outrage. I remember how some renowned political leader was spitting venom against baba, trying hard to distort his (baba Ramdev’s) image among the ardent patrons. For him (the political leader) it is a “lazza ka wiahay” for a man wearing women’s attire. I donno why??? Can anybody answer this simple question of mine that what is so shameful about that incident? Why it was said so that baba Ramdev showed how forged and cheap he is when he became public in ladies garments? Readers I would like to mention here that I am neither a disciple of baba nor I support his ‘fast unto death’ tricks. Also it was not a treat for me to see baba in a new avatar. But I strongly denounce such cheap political statements where these leaders forget even their basic responsibilities, towards the lacks of (all are not blindfolded it’s just that they are helpless) blindfolded common people. At one place they talk about the inequality between the two genders and at another place working like a mouth piece for their party, they make such daring comments without thinking twice that when there will be elections again, how will they put forward their so called ‘frank mentality’ to uplift the condition of those previously uplifted women? Note that most of the laws and rights given are usually in favor of women who already have host of rights saved in their kitty. I donno what baba Ramdev did was right or wrong.
Let the higher courts of the country resolve that. But this much m very sure of, that by wearing a salwar kameej just to save his life, the man has done nothing wrong. How come a dress justifies an individual’s character? That too in a country where big scams and forgery mean nothing if not proved(in spite of hordes of proves). Remember Kalmadi incident; the man must have some special attractions in his personality that provoked even the Jailer in Tihar to sip evening coffee with him. I am sure the topic discussed during their coffee time must be a serious thought upon the degrading condition of Indian politics.
Coming back to topic; in my opinion a dress can never signify a person’s character. Hence it is my request to you Mr Digvijay Singhji you hold a very important position in this country. Your attention deserves a lot other places to be focused on. Please don’t let it go on such trivial issues. Do something for your nation you have got the reason. Try to take good wishes of your fellow countrymen. Let these babas and yogis remain engaged in their business. Why are you taking extra toll when you have
nothing to do with the scams? Don’t worry your name won’t be flashed on Internet if your “daaman is bedaag…”
